Alexander Lu is a sophomore at the International Community School in Kirkland and studies piano with Dr. Sasha Starcevich.  Alex is the winner of 2010 and 2016 “KING FM Young Artist Award” competition and has been featured in the 2010 SCMS “Emerging Artist Concert Series” and four “Ten Grands” concerts.  As a winner of Seattle Symphony Young Artist Auditions and Seattle Young Artist Festival, Alex performed with the Seattle Symphony and Philharmonia Northwest in 2013.  He has appeared in New York’s Carnegie Hall, KING FM’s “Northwest Focus Live”, King 5’s “New Day Northwest” and also performed in Italy’s “Music Fest Perugia” both as a recitalist and a soloist.
